Problem deploying a WAR file

I am new to Java and even newer to the Java System Application Server.
I am using a training course to learn Servlets and JSP. I installed J2EE and the Application Server yesterday, and when I try to follow the course in deploying a WAR file I get the following error in the log file

I am using the Admin console to do the deployment
Per the training class, I am checkeing the "Verifer" box.

Following is the general error message I get from the admin counsole:
An error has occurred.

ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.
Can you deploy your application without verifier checkbox set? You have to remember that verifier is very strict when it comes to validating deployment descriptors.
There are loads of applications that fail to be deployed with verifier checked but work quite well. This doesn't mean that you should just ignore verifier's errors, it means that your web application is not stricly following J2EE spec.
What you should probably do is run verifier separately as suggested by deployer and see what it says. Check the following link for verifier usage:
http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/819-2644/6n4tumqe1?q=verifier&a=view

Could someone give me a hand to resolve these issues? I really appriciate your hand.
Good Luck !
Kosala
There could be a couple of different issues here. The warning message doesn't stop the build, but it's worth looking into. Do you have a binding/service definition for the portType in the WSDL? The deployment issue could be caused by a missing XSD file in the generated composite application artifacts, or an incorrect catalog.xml.
It will be easier if you could share the project.

The message says, see the log file; domain.log
Increase the log-level of the BPEL PM, reproduce the issue. Verify the log-file for detailed information.

Deployment Error.

Hi All,
I am trying to send a request to a database to retrive all the employee details based on the Id given in the request. I have created WSDL from database, for which an xsd has been created. This generated WSDL is used as a partnerlink to retrive the records from database. For this I have created a BPEL process and when I try to deploy in Glass Fish server, I am getting the below error.
ERROR: Successful execution of Deploy: D:\NetBeansWorkspace\TestCompAppl/dist/TestCompAppl.zip

FYI this EMPLOYEE.xsd is the xsd which is generated when I try to generate the WSDL from the database.
Waiting for positive response.
Thanks,
Srinivas
It's a bit difficult to tell, but based on the error message, it looks like the import statement of your WSDL is not properly pointing to the EMPLOYEE.xsd.
Make sure that your Sample.wsdl file imports the EMPLOYEE.xsd properly. If it does, then the error might be in the HTTP BC. To confirm this, it might be better to post the project that you're working on for us to look at. It appears that these forums don't allow the posting of attachments. You can try posting to users#open-esb.dev.java.net.
Thanks,
Alex
